Revealed: 2016 AFL Fixture

The 2016 AFL fixture has been released with a boost for Tasmania and a shock week off heading into finals.

KEY NOTES WITH 2016 AFL FIXTURE

- All teams have two byes for the season including a mid-season bye at some stage through rounds 13-15 and a competition-wide bye after round 23.

- Blundstone Arena hosts a Friday night game between North and Richmond in Round 11

- Carlton and Richmond kick off Round 1 at the MCG on Thursday night before Good Friday

- No Friday night games for Carlton in 2016

- Western Bulldogs have three Friday night games scheduled

- Indigenous round renamed Sir Doug Nicholls Round
